Everyday, that I read the women’s daily devotion i gain new insight and understanding of who I am as a child of God. At times when I feel depressed and lonely it had encouraged me to look up and move forward trusting God to see me through the good and bad days. I thank the Lord for this ministry and the people behind who gives all these powerful insights and meditations everyday. I believe a lot of struggling christians like me are blessed. Praise be to God!

As a teacher, summers are difficult for me. During the school year I wake up early each day with a schedule, lesson plans, and direction. It’s not so during summer vacation. “Down time” isn’t always all it’s cracked up to be. The admonishment,”every day we choose our direction,” coupled with “where we focus we follow” is powerful. I have made it my goal to read a devotion each morning with my first cup of coffee to jump-start my vacation days. Focus…direction…the Word of God…that’s my plan.
