Take a Walk

Dear friends,

As Halloween approaches I am impressed again by the popular occult culture among our young people.. Weekly TV shows, movies, and the clear majority of books on display at the book stores that are aimed at our youth often portray witches, magic, vampires, and the like.

Halloween is one of the “high days” for Satanic activity, and I have felt the leading of the Lord that it is a day that we need to take a stand and bring His presence into the situation. Satan is an opportunist and wherever we fail to occupy, we leave a vacuum which he is very quick to fill.

We are those who are called to intercede for the salvation of the people, and when our young people are being enticed into these deep places of darkness, it is our divine responsibility to raise up a standard against the enemy. As I write this, I am powerfully reminded that, for many of us, these are our own children who are continually being exposed to this dark culture.

In response to all of this, God has unfolded a prayer strategy for us to engage in and stand together for the hope of the young people of our nation, and for our nation as a whole. This strategy will take place from Oct 29-31. We encourage you to find one or more prayer partners, and choose one of these three days to walk and pray for one hour on location. It may be your local school, your neighborhood, government buildings, or wherever you sense the Lord’s leading.

Let’s stand together and make proclamation that we will not sit quiet while the enemy charms and lures our children down the path of death and darkness.

Attached you will find a pamphlet to help facilitate your prayer walk. I encourage you to pray about who you can invite and inspire to join you for your city. Please feel free to forward this invitation, or to print and distribute copies of the pamphlet.
