Emerging from a catastrophic car accident resulting in more than seventy operations, including the amputation of both legs, Gracie Rosenberger now steps onto the stages of the world to share the same hope that continues to sustain her.

Performing publicly since the age of 3, Gracie’s formal study as a vocal performance major helped develop her powerful voice that brings audiences to their feet across the country. Gracie’s long list of media credits include NBC’s TODAY Show, CNN, PEOPLE, TBN, an d hundreds of print publications. When Gracie performed at the 2004 Republican National Convention in New York, sh e became the first woman wit h a disability to perform at a major party's convention. She has also performed for President George W. Bush, as well as dozens of US Senators and governors. In a state kn own for music, Gracie was the only singer, and first ever individual with a disability, invited to perform at the 2003 inauguration of Tennessee’s Governor.

But Gracie counts as one of her most moving invitations the request by the commanding general of Walter Reed Army Medical Center for Gracie to perform at the groundbreaking ceremony for the new amputee-training center for military personnel experiencing limb-loss. Since then, the US Army regularly invites Gracie t o perform and spend time with wounded warriors who are struggling to come to grips with their own devastating injuries.

Gracie saw the need for quality prosthetic limbs for her fellow amputees in developing countries, so she and her husband, Peter, founded the artificial limb outreach, Standing With Hope, Inc. Through Standing With Hope, Gracie equips and trains local workers on building high quality prosthetic limbs for their own people …all as an evangelical outreach.

Gracie and Peter have two sons, Parker and Grayson, who are both actively involved in Standing With Hope. Parker (21) is international relations major at Samford University, where he is also studying French and Arabic to help him lead prosthetic teams into North Africa. Grayson (17) gained international fame at age fifteen when he created an award winning way of forming a life-like cosmetic covering for artificial legs using Bubble Wrap and flesh-colored hose in order to provide low cost “skin” coverings to the patients his parents treat. Grayson is planning on attending the US Military Academy at West Point.

Gracie regularly spends time at her parent’s ranch in Montana, where she enjoys white water rafting, riding ATV’s and snow skiing with her family. Gracie and Peter live in Nashville, TN.
