Shaun Smith
Standing a few inches taller than anyone else at TruthMedia, Shaun is able to leap over smaller people, medium-sized playground equipment and little barking dogs in a single bound. He is the proud daddy of the loudest daughter (Kaelyn) and son (Joshua) on the planet, and is married to Michelle, who can be loud in her own right.
As a former youth pastor, Shaun desires to build community and discussion within the emerging generations. He is deeply passionate about digging for the 'real', and loves being around people who strive for authenticity.
Shaun also happens to think that the phrase "bok choy" is possibly the most hilarious combination of words in the history of humanity.
Color Me Patriot
“A patriot wraps himself around the flag to defend it; a scoundrel wraps it around himself to defend himself” -Anonymous
I’ve grown to enjoy the day when we celebrate another year in the history of our nation. I like walking down to the park, listening to the music, watching the multitude of flags flying from car [...] Read More >

This Is Power
How fearful are you? Here is a video that talks about how God can empower you.
The raw power of a storm is magnificent – the towering ominous clouds, the announcement of rumbling thunder, the unrestrained force of the gusting wind. A storm is one of those unique opportunities in life where a person can watch [...] Read More >

Twittering the Masses
I am attending church in my boxer shorts. I haven’t showered yet, but I am enjoying my morning coffee. And I’m sitting in the front row, listening to the pastor. No one has made any remarks about my wardrobe, or my coffee, and I’m certain that they won’t. I am attending a live church service [...] Read More >

The Ridiculousness of Forgiveness
In my perfect world, the criminal will be caught, publicly apologize with profuse crying and groveling, and then sent away to the Island of No-Return. Forgiveness? What a ridiculous idea! Read More >

Suing Jesus
We live in an age of entitlement. The plans of our lives need to happen, and they need to happen immediately. If we want something, there is very little to stop us from purchasing it. Getting in shape, making more money, achieving our goals – all of these are accomplishments that, if we had our [...] Read More >

Finding Community
Depending on which organization you ask, church attendance is either in free-fall or growing by the thousands. In the midst of such disparity, it is important to ask – what is God’s design for community? Does a Christian have to go to organized church activity in order to call themselves a Christian, or is [...] Read More >
