Breakthough Prayer

We envision the Church of the city equipped to Inquire, Hear & Obey for the Advance of God’s Kingdom in her sphere of influence according to this Scripture: “At the Lord’s command they encamped, at the Lord’s command they set out. They obeyed the Lord’s order” (Numbers 9:23, NIV).

Our mission is to call, assemble, resource, train and commission prayer teams led by domain facilitators, coordinators and city champions in agreement with this verse: “David inquired of the Lord… The Lord said (answered) to him…, so David went… The Lord has broken through” (2 Samuel 5:19, 20, NKJ).

Our mandate is to pray God’s heart and Word for the harvest for one hour each week and celebrate the resulting God stories based on these Scriptures: “Couldn’t you watch with me even one hour? Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!” (Matthew 26:40, NLT). Also, see 1 Timothy 2:1-4; Luke 15:32
