Breakthough Prayer

This is a God Call to a life-giving and life-changing adventure of faith that will reap eternal reward!

God’s labourers are mighty in prayer. Through prayer they plow the ground, prepare and water the soil for sowing seed, and bring in the harvest. The past, present and future of God’s harvest of souls fully depends on workers who pray.  Our heavenly Father has chosen to collaborate with us to manage His harvest through prayer!

Let’s agree right up front on what we mean when we talk about prayer. Usually we think of prayer as talking to God, presenting our requests to Him, asking Him to bless what we’re doing and perhaps praising Him. We look at prayer from a different perspective.

We believe prayer is the key to our faith and spiritual walk and the faith adventures that ensue. Nothing can take its place. If you have needs, they take prayer. If you want direction for your life, it takes prayer. If you want your loved ones, friends and neighbors to come to know God, it takes prayer. If you want to see circumstances change, it takes prayer. Whatever you need in life, it takes prayer.

What is prayerand how do you get answers to prayer?

Prayer is asking God what He wants, listening to what He says, and obeying what He tells you to do. Prayer is speaking God’s will and His words over circumstances and people in your life until the enemy’s assignments against them are broken. God’s words whispered, spoken or shouted in prayer win victories, build defenses, smash strongholds and break through enemy lines. Getting prayers answered is BREAKTHROUGH!

Bringing in the harvest

Prayer releases God’s mighty power to change the course of people’s lives and call more laborers into the fields. He intends that we work together with Him and with each other for His greater purpose. According to His design, the way laborers come together through His Word and through prayer ultimately affects the harvest. In John 4:35 Jesus tells us to open our eyes, “…and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.” And, consider the prayer Jesus asked us to pray:

“Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field” (Matthew 9:38 NIV).

I pray you will sense the urgency of this Scripture and recognize prayer as a high and mighty calling with the revolutionary power to change the course of lives, cities and nations.

A two-fold blessing awaits you on this journey. Together with others you can help fulfill God’s heart for the harvest, and as you do, you will be changed in the process. You will enjoy the satisfaction of knowing that you’re fulfilling God’s will and making a significant contribution to God’s Kingdom. Just mark Jesus’ words:

“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. As the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it” (Isaiah 55:9-11, NIV).

Get ready!  Answering the call to prayer will be more than you can imagine!
