For over 25 years this has been the story of thousands as they have been united by a common felt need, a shared goal,  care for one another, God’s Word and regular encouragement inspired through this ministry.

The leading edge for any effective prayer and evangelism movement begins and continues with one member willing to step obediently into the role and scope God calls him or her to serve and to pray into it. Every role is strategic to support and facilitate God’s purposes and plans, resulting in stories of breakthrough and opportunity for more followers of Christ to respond to their call to inquire, hear and obey for the advance of God’s Kingdom.

It’s As Easy As This:

1.  Commit Weekly to One Hour of Prayer for a Shared Scope of Influence

God has supernaturally blessed those He has called to this ministry with a great sense of joy, excitement and commitment to pray with the expectation that He will answer their shared prayers for a specific focus wherever they may live, work or play.

You are strategically positioned to collaborate with God whether that motivation is for the domain of family, education, church, marketplace, government, sport, arts/media/entertainment, other.

Domain: an area, sphere, or activity over which someone has influence

2.  Facilitate A Prayer Group

Pray and trust God for others to join your team. Share your excitement and vision with others and ask them to pray about joining you – allow God to do the recruiting! Use the downloadable resources to help you cast the vision and the ACTS format to help you guide the hour of prayer.

It is important to underscore that even two praying together constitutes a team.  Matthew 18:19 says: “If two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.”

Those who share this call to intercessory prayer are often willing to meet each week for one hour of seeking the One who knows the needs of each domain of family, education, marketplace, sport, church, government, arts/media/ entertainment, etc.

3.  Pray God’s Word Each Week to Maximize Your Hour (Using the ACTS Format)

Taking one focused hour each week to pray God’s Word in agreement around a shared need is to encounter the transforming and liberating Power of Christ’s Presence in and through you by His Holy Spirit. How does it work? Learn more here.

1.  Pray About Being A Domain Prayer Coordinator

Some members are called to pray, mobilize and train new team facilitators to seek God on behalf of a specific domain of interest – family, education, business, church, government, sports and arts/media/entertainment.

The more teams mobilized to seek God on behalf of that domain, the greater opportunity for God stories of breakthrough to be generated. For example, how ever many schools in your city could equal potential teams that could be mobilized for God’s ultimate purposes to be fulfilled in and through the educational system. How ever many businesses could equal strategic prayer teams who expect God to work in the marketplace. Etc.

A domain coordinator identifies with the vision, call, skill and passion to see spiritual breakthrough generated through mobilized domain teams and trained team facilitators in their specific sphere of call and interest.  Their scope of involvement may vary by gifting, but their mission is to support the call to inquire, hear and obey for the advance of God’s Kingdom in their domain of influence.

2.  Pray About Being A City Prayer Champion

Some members are called to pray, mobilize and train a city-scope of domain coordinators and facilitators to seek God for every domain of interest – family, education, business, church, government, sport and arts/media/entertainment.

The more coordinators and facilitators seeking God to mobilize prayer on behalf of the domains of a city, the wider the scope for God stories of breakthrough to be unleashed where everyone lives, works and plays.

A City Champion identifies with a city-scope vision, call, skill and passion to see spiritual breakthroughs generated through mobilized, trained and equipped domain coordinators, facilitators and teams. Their scope of involvement may vary by gifting but ultimately their mission is to support their city to inquire, hear and obey for the advance of God’s Kingdom.
