This completes the applicant’s process for him/her to apply to serve with Breakthrough Prayer Ministry, a ministry of Power to Change, as a volunteer Domain Coordinator or City Champion of Prayer. Their scope of involvement may vary by gifting, but their mission is to support the call to Inquire, Hear and Obey for the Advance of God’s Kingdom in their domain and scope of influence.

At Breakthrough we envision the church of the city, followers of Christ, equipped to Inquire, Hear & Obey for the Advance of God’s Kingdom in their sphere of influence according to this Scripture: “At the Lord’s command they encamped, at the Lord’s command they set out. They obeyed the Lord’s order” (Numbers 9:23, NIV).

Our mission is to call, assemble, resource, train and commission prayer teams led by domain facilitators, coordinators and city champions in agreement with this verse: “David inquired of the Lord… The Lord said (answered) to him…, so David went… The Lord has broken through” (2 Samuel 5:19, 20, NKJ).

Our mandate is to pray God’s heart and Word for the harvest for one hour each week and celebrate the resulting God stories based on these Scriptures: “Couldn’t you watch with me even one hour? Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!” (Matthew 26:40, NLT). Also, see 1 Timothy 2:1-4; Luke 15:32
