It's funny, but I have memories of travelling too, of being cramped and half-frozen in the back of a gift-laden car whose rear doors didn't seal properly, in -40 weather. And because it was Christmas Eve, being cramped and half-frozen was FUN. That was a joy to read!

We too did some traveling to Canada to visit relatives (and still do!), and yes, Dad had the same goal!
