At the time, I was okay with it. It took me 8 yrs to finally come out of my denial. But that's when the grief finally poured in. I still live with the regret and heartache of the abortion today however, I can honestly say that the "sting" of the abortion has lessoned because I've been meditating on The Word. I'm finally realizing that God truly forgives and loves me. I had an abortion at 19 yrs of age. At the time, I was okay with it. It took me 8 yrs to finally come out of my denial. Allowing Him in to heal you from the pain of guilt and shame and receiving His amazing unconditional love works miracles. You really can be set free by knowing His truth. I know. He set me free! He loves you so very much. Nothing you do now and nothing you have done will make him love you any less. Let that truth sink into your heart.
