I’m pleased that you are confident in your salvation. That knowledge is very comforting as we go through the challenges of life. You mentioned some of the other challenges of living the life of a follower of Jesus, specifically, not wanting to fail in doing your part. I struggled with that too so I thought you might like to hear something from God’s word that teaches us how to be directed and empowered by the Holy Spirit. This teaching certainly encouraged me. What I am concerned about now is taking my loved ones for granted. I really believe the Lord is speaking to me about ensuring that I do not do this, and also that I make the most of my every moment with God while I am here on earth. For though I trust the promises of God regarding my assurance of salvation, I surely do not want to fail to do my part to work out my salvation with fear and trembling, and also with joy and diligent determination in Christ Jesus to love Him and others with the very best of my heart.

Thank you so much for this video; it really makes me think about my priorities and how I am living my life.
