Barbara Parentini

Barbara Parentini (www.barbaraparentini.com) a native Ohioan, fell in love with the South when she attended Warren Wilson College in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Retired from her career as a registered nurse since a life-changing accident in 2003, she devotes much of her time writing Christian devotions, poetry, creative non-fiction, and fiction.

Her recent contributions appear in Amazing Faith by Insight Publishing, One Year Life Verse Devotional by Tyndale House Publishers, and Daily Devotions for Writers from The Writing Academy. She is a member of the North Carolina Writers Network and the North Carolina Poetry Society.

She enjoys creating her card line, Soaring Hearts; also, Living Letters: Letters from the Heart, Letters that Heal, a workshop and journal to be available in 2008. Barbara is a graduate of C.L.A.S.S.
