Prayer From a Parent’s Heart
As I sit down to write this article I am reminded of the awesome honour of being a parent. God has granted me the privilege of raising three of His special little ones, but with the privilege comes great responsibility and a lot of hard work. Perhaps more than any other area of life, parenting brings with it the capacity both for boundless joy and tremendous heartache. What can we do as parents to succeed at the task God has given us? Pray, Pray, Pray!
Parenting has not been an easy journey for me. I have had to face my own inadequacy and rely on God’s plan for my life and my children. Part of that process was God teaching me how to pray for my children. There is no exact science for this, but the Lord put it on my heart to write a prayer for each of my children.
Why write a prayer? I had so many things that I wanted to remember to pray for each of my children, and writing it out really helped me to be concise. The written prayers reflect each child’s uniqueness, while also covering the basics in such a way that I don’t feel like I’m forgetting any important issues. I’d encourage you to give it a try.
Begin with a decision to take the time to pray for your children. This sounds simple, but it takes follow-through and commitment. When it comes to prayer, there is no substitute for time, and writing a well-crafted prayer for each child takes extra effort. But you will find that it’s well worth it.
Next, sit down and brainstorm a list of all the things you want to pray for. What is important to you as you raise your children in this difficult culture we live in? Try to catch a glimpse of the future: what kind of adults do you want your kids to become? Here are a few items on my prayer list:
* (Editor’s Note: Try printing out these prayer items and insert it in your Bible so you can be reminded to pray for your kids.)
- Purity: I pray for purity both for my kids and for their future spouses. Their spouses are out there somewhere, growing up as children right now, and what happens in their lives will greatly affect the life of my children down the road.
- Relationships: Above all, I pray that my kids will develop strong relationships with the Lord. I also pray for healthy relationships with their siblings, with friends, and with my husband and I as their parents.
- Protection: The world is a dangerous place in many ways. I pray for physical, spiritual and emotional protection for each child.
- Personal weaknesses: Every child has their own struggles, whether it’s lying, angry outbursts, disrespect, or any number of other issues. I pray that God will shape their character and turn their weaknesses to strengths.
- Thanks: Each child also has unique strengths that are God’s gift to our family. For some it’s charm, for others leadership ability or a sense of humour. I thank God for these special qualities and ask Him to continue to develop these characteristics in our children.
After brainstorming your list, pray and ask the Holy Spirit to lead you in writing the prayer. Then it’s finally time to sit down and start writing! In addition to working from the list, I try to incorporate scripture passages that are applicable to the situation. Because the Bible is God’s perfect Word, I believe it is very powerful in prayer.
Here is an example of what I wrote as part of a prayer regarding purity:
For a daughter:
“Lord, we ask for purity in her life and that of her husband. We ask for protection over their innocence and purity; protect them from others and wrong choices, call them to a higher standard. We ask for wisdom and discernment in teaching and preparing her for a life of purity and modesty. I also ask that you grant her husband’s parents wisdom as they raise a man of integrity.”
For a son:
“Lord, we pray against pornography and lust and its evil effects on his life both as a child and as an adult. Give us wisdom in teaching him to respect girls and women. Put a calling of purity upon his life that he will never use, abuse, or take advantage of girls or women. We ask for wisdom and discernment in teaching and preparing him for a life of purity.”
I pray blessing and biblical qualities for my children. The Bible has a lot to say about how we speak and the power of the tongue to do damage, but also to bring healing. “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit” (Proverbs 18:21).
“Father we thank You for (insert your daughter’s name here), You have heaped us with bounty and we praise You for entrusting us with her. She is fearfully and wonderfully made. You chose her for us and we thank You for the gift she is to us. We bless her and ask that You fill her with “Whatever things are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, of good report, having virtue, or anything praiseworthy, let her think on these things.””
I pray for wisdom as a parent regarding specific issues for this child. The Bible says whoever lacks wisdom should ask…so I ask a lot! “If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him” (James 1:5).
“Lord, grant us wisdom. We ask that you would impress upon him that lying is wrong. Help us to train him to be a man of integrity and honesty starting now. We ask that you would raise him up to be an upright man; one who is pro-active for what is right. May he not be passive, but aggressive for truth and what is honourable.”
Relationships will be a lifelong pursuit for your children: relationships with family, friends and especially with the Lord. My dad prayed faithfully for a good Christian friend for me in high school. I am so thankful for those prayers, and I believe God has answered them many times over in my life. I thank God for many wonderful friends over the years.
“We ask Father that you would fill her life with good relationships, first with you Lord. Help her to seek after Godly things. We ask your blessing on our relationship with her, help us to express to her and for her to feel unconditional love; may she rise up and call us blessed. We ask for good friends for her; that she may feel accepted and influenced by good kids. Keep her path straight. We ask your blessing on her life by causing Godly people to positively influence her life at the crossroads she will face. Go before her and prepare the way.”
I hope this glance into my heart as a mother will encourage you in your parenting journey. As I conclude this article I want to share that the first prayer I wrote was a turning point for our family. I wrote that prayer out of desperation because I had tried everything the world has to offer, and yet nothing had worked. Truly God wanted to begin a work in me, and it started with turning my eyes upon the Lord and looking to Him for answers. As I look back I see a faithful God working in our lives. The true changes began when I took my eyes off changing my child and started changing myself.

Please i would like sometime of resources on how to pray for my 16 yr old son who left home 2 months ago Nov. 5, 2011. He is currently living with his girlfriend and her parental guardians, which i do not approve of. Since he has been very disrespectful, curses myself n his grandmother, avoids his entire family n friends all together..I do not know what to do. I miss my son very much as well as his lil brother and sisters do. We want him to come home and we know he is not happy where he is at but we have no idea why he just does not return back with us. I have many people praying but it seems like nothing is happing. Please pray for him as well as me in order for God to give me strength and bring my baby home. Thank you.
Praying is crucial. I have recently found it to be so helpful in my own life, I now would like my daughter to feel its worth. She has been depressed as of late. Her grades have slipped and she spends all her time on her laptop. She has lasting anger from my divorce and my future marriage (which is coming soon). I pray that she find happiness and overcome her anger and sadness. I pray that she finds motivation and fulfillment in her life and know just what a treasure she is. She has so many gifts-her laughter, kind spirit, loving and caring nature to younger cousins. I wish for God to look down upon her and help her to find these gifts within herself and to help her realize that this new family we are forming is a good one and one that so desperately wants her to be a part of it.
Please pray for my daughter who is 19 , she is very secretive and am worried to death. She lies alot. She has gender crisis and identity crisis
Thanks
Olivia, thank you for sharing Isaiah 54:10 with Luyanda: “10For though the mountains should depart and the hills be shaken or removed, yet My love and kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace and completeness be removed, says the Lord, Who has compassion on you.” It is so vital in times of trauma and the shattering of relationships to know that the Lord will never leave us nor forsake us. I love Hebrews 13:5, as well, and often meditate on it to remind myself that I need to cling to the Lord no matter what the situation and the circumstances in my life.
Luyanda, my prayer for you and your children at this painful time is that you can hold on to the Lord God Almighty’s promises in Hebrews 13:5, and proclaim His Word in Hebrews 13:6:
5… He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]
6 So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me? [Amplified Bible]
May God richly bless you all.
Luyanda Read Isaih 54:10
Father God I pray for Luyanda’s family. The breakdown of a family is such a painful thing and it sounds like it is destroying the people in this family. I pray for Luyandi’s ex-husband for his heart to heal from the pain of divorce and the loss of custody of his children. Guard him from this path of isolating himself completely from his kids. I pray that You would protect the hearts of these children as their parents battle through these court decisions. Help heal the pain that they are feeling and the anger that they have towards their parents. Lord You can bring healing and we pray that Your Spirit would heal this family as a testimony of the power of Your love. Amen.
I am a single mother of 3. The last two share the same dad. We broke up years back and we have been fighting over maintenance of the kids. I decided to take him to the maintenance court. He told me that he is disowning the kids as a result of my actions. He will have nothing to do with them and they should never communicate with him. When we got to court he requested partenity tests for the two kids. When we went for tests he never spoke to them or even greet them. The kids were emotional not understanding why is their dad not talking to them. We still have to appear in court in January for the results which he knows too well they are positive. Please pray for God’s intervention as he fights my battles for me.
Thank you so much for these prayers, they have helped me open my eyes and to turn back and consecrate my two children into His hands again. My daughter will be 21 in March, she is in her third year of college and she is still living at home. She has her head on her shoulders. She has boyfriend now, and my prayer is that God would give her the straight to continue to keep pure and safe herself for her husband whether it will be this young man or not. I also have a fourteen year old son, he has the fear of the Lord, but lately he has been a little depressed and I am not sure why. I pray that the joy of Lord will be his straight to overcome what ever troubles his mind at the moment. Thank you so much for helping pray for my precious gifts from Heaven.

Hi Anna,
Thank you for sharing your story, and your mother’s heart that comes through so beautifully, your faith surely is the pillar that keeps your house together, and your prayer is the armor around your son from the fiery darts of the enemy.
“Heavenly Father, Almighty God, our Judge, our Law Giver, our King, I lift up to You Anna, her son, and all sons and daughters out there who find themselves in this situation. I thank you that Your Word says that Your Grace is sufficient for them, for when they are weak, your strength is made perfect in that weakness. Father, may Anna’s son, be strengthened by Your Power and Might, may her son know that his help comes from the Lord who made the Heavens and the earth, may the revelation, that the same power that raised Christ from dead lives in him, be a reality in his day to day situations. I pray Lord, that these children would find belonging in a group that is formed by you. Lead them in the way that they should go.
Thank You Lord, that Anna’s son and others are more then conquerors through Christ who gives them the strength… Thank you that you are raising up this child to be the next Gideon, David, Moses… he will stand up for the meek and the humble, for he understands… I thank you Lord, for giving Anna the wisdom, courage and might to be a woman of valor, a woman of strength, filled with Your Holy Spirit, and teaching her son to face life with You. All the praise and Honor to You, thank you in Jesus Name for hearing our prayers.
Dear Anna, thank you for your caring heart, and I know that God hears your prayers and answers them in due time. God bless you Anna, you and your family.
My Son has always had trouble in finding good true friends at school and in outerschool activities, he is constantly bullied and treated differently to most other kids, He tries to do the right thing and is caught up in a world where being tough and mean is the way, He finds it hard to find people who would except him for the lovely young man he is. As most boys and girls find this situation as a lonely and sad, i ask that you pray for my son and other children alike to be protected and supported in finding a place and friends to belong to and with. God has helped us in many ways and has answered our prayers and we will always pray to him and give thanks to him in Jesus name, for all he has done and continues to do for me and my children Amen,
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You that Mae is praying for her son and family. She is asking that they move to California; and though I do not know why, YOU know all things, and whether or not this move is in Your plan for him. Assuming that they move, I pray that they pack wisely, taking only what they really need. I also pray that they take time to read You Word, The Bible, daily even on a busy schedule! May Nelson, his girlfriend and their kids enjoy each others company during this trip. I ask that You keep them safe during their move. And bless them, as we read in Deuteronomy 26:15 “….Look down from heaven, your holy dwelling place, and bless your people Israel and the land you have given us as you promised on oath to our forefathers, a land flowing with milk and honey.” NIV
May they praise Your name upon arrival. Thank You, God; for we pray in Jesus’ name.
Now, Donna, we lift you and your family up for God’s blessing: Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for the concern Donna has for her daughter. May this 16-year-old realize that her mother’s wisdom is to be heeded. And may her dad, while being humorous, support his wife’s rules for their daughter. I pray that these parents both let go, and ask the Holy Spirit for guidance. I pray that all their communication be done in love! Love for You and love for each other. May the girl’s prayer be that of Ps 51:10 “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” NIV. Surround her with a circle of good clean friends, and have her appreciate the smile she seen when she looks in the mirror. Thank You again for blessing this family and for making them a blessing. May they also know how to call on You for answers to tough questions, and for help in times of difficulty. YOU are the God they can always depend on. In the name of Jesus, our intercessor, Amen.
Please pray for me and my 16 year old daughter and my husband who wants to be cool fun dad, while I am mean stricy moma. Pray for her purity, who she chooses a friends and the will to be a strong minded and determined with this word as she is with me. Pray that her dad will open his eyes that she is manipulating us to divid and conquer. and pray for me that I can let go of this controling spirit. I don’t want to be so controlling but I just want to save her from my past mistakes. Thank you
please pray for son nelson to move to california with his girlfriend and kids
Hi Flower,
I will certainly pray for that son’s health and that mother to come closer to God right now: Dear God I pray for this loving mother who cares for her son’s health and I pray Lord that you will touch this boy and heal him at this moment of need and that you will put your loving arms around him and restore him. I also pray that you will show your love and compassion to this mother and cause her to thirst for you and that she will grow to love you more and more. I pray these in Jesus’ name. Amen and thank you Lord.
God bless you Flower and may he answer all your prayers!
Hi my name is flower and i am sponsoring a child the mother has just wrote me a letter and she is wanting me to help her pray for her son for health and to be able to grow close to god. I wanted to see if you could help me to pray for him?
it is really a prayer that must be said every day into our children’s life….thank you may God bless you and your family for sharing with us.
You are so right olivia, parenting is a tough profession, but also very rewarding. My children are now adults with families of their own and it is so fun to see the next generation growing up and more children to pray for.
You mentioned that you have ‘failed’ to make her choose college and you wouldn’t want to force her…that is so wise. Forcing our adult children is never a good idea….and usually doesn’t have very good consequences. The good thing is that she is still young and has lots of time to decide on her own if that is the right place for her. So just keep on praying for her!
Thanks for your prayers and continue to pray for us. Parenting is on of the toughest profession in the world. And its more hard as a single parent and worse as children turn unto adulthood. Am grateful though that Go has helped me a lot and i just dedicate my daughter for protection, guidance and wisdom. I have failed to make her choose college and i would not want to force her, for fear of if something happens. God be with her and bless her future.
Heavenly Father, thank You for trusting us as parents with our children. What a marvelous privilege to care, nurture and raise these little ones toward adulthood. I pray for Olivia and her children that they would move into this next phase of maturity with a strong dependence on You. This is such a crucial age of making that step from teenager to adulthood. Protect Olivia’s daughter from all the ways that she could be led astray. Thank You for her giftedness and help her always to recognize those gifts and talents come from You and need to be used in accordance with Your plan for her. Help Olivia know how to parent this young lady well and may this time in their lives be a unifying together even as her daughter prepares to step out on her own. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Thanks for such an inspiration about parrying for our kids.I have mature kids and i need your prayers for them more than ever. Please pray for my daughter who is so gifted and talented but needs a lot of Gods protection and guidance. May God help her to find HIm. She is soon 19 years. Pray her future.
Thanks
Lord God, I pray for Lexa as she leads and guides her teenager through difficult years to adulthood. I pray that You would give Lexa great wisdom in knowing how to respond to the challenges and how to express her love effectively. I pray for her teen that he/she would truly explore their own faith and make his/her relationship with You their very own. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Thank u for your ability to share so much of yourself. I am having an extremely hard time with my teenager lately and I know my prayers are being heard but this is a great way of making sure they’re specific.
Libba thank you for sharing your heart with us. It is always so encouraging to see how God uses the authors and articles on the site to minister to people literally around the world.
Praying for our family is such an integral part of parenting and it probably the most important thing that we can do as parents. I kept track of the scriptures I prayed for our children and then gave them to them when they were adults which was such a blessing to them and encouraged them to do the same for their children.
tahnk you for the article- i know my parents prayed for us the children while we were growing up i think my mom still does, i think its important for parents to pray for their children
Just to give you more insight as to how much God has placed this on my heart:
Before He led me to your article, I had already opened a blank page on my computer and at the top, I had “Prayers for my Family”. Also, God had led me to a passage of scripture during my morning devotion that was perfect for one of my sons. I had that inserted in this page. The reason this has been so on my heart is because when I come before God in prayer to lift up my family, I feel like I am just babbling on and on and not making any sense (probably like I am doing here). My words seem to get all jumbled up and I fear that I am not praying what my heart feels. Anyway, I just wanted you to know you were used by God for this purpose. As I notice the dates in the above comments, it awes me to see that He was planning this for me last year!!
Our God is so amazingly AWESOME!! It was just a few hours ago that I thought about writing out my prayers for my sons and grandsons. But I guess satan was trying to get involved because I wondered whether or not this would be appropriate and sincere enough for God. Would He really hear me if I came to Him in prayer by referring to something I had previously written? Or would He think that I was not speaking from my heart? Or that I am not really serious because I had to write my prayer or I would forget the things I needed Him for in the lives of my family? Now that I reflect back on the past few hours, I definitely see that satan was placing these questions on my heart!!! OUCH! Then, I was led here by the grace of God. During those hours, I asked God to lead me to something that would reveal His will about this! And oh boy, did He. So many of your words above were the exact same as those I was thinking. They hit dead on! Thank you so much for this because if you hadn’t written this article, God would not have led me to it. Now all questions have been answered and, not only that, you provided me with the tools to do it. God definitely used you as His vessel to reveal to me His desires and will. Truly amazingly AWESOME!! God works in mysterious ways for sure!
I would like to thank you for your response to this article. I have never had children, except friends children that lets me share with them and pray for them too.I love children and I know that as a child I had my parents and grand parents praying for me too. I just want to say to all of you parents and care givers to pray for your children. God helps you and we should help His children to grow in Him.
This is amazing!!! I have to admit that I became lazy with prayer for my kids. I know, that’s horrible. But I now know that it is my responsibility and privilege to uplift my children daily! How awesome of a gift is it to be entrusted with children?!?!?! Thank you so much for this article!!!
Praying for our children is the best gift we can give them Dana! I’m thrilled to hear that we were an answer to your prayer! I’m glad you found this article too….if you would like to have one of our prayer mentors specifically praying for you and your children, just fill in the form on this page http://powertochange.com/discover/need-prayer/ and you will get an email from one.
I have been very blessed to find your article tonight. I have just written out a prayer asking God for the patience and ability to encourage my children to do their best to become the Godly Christians that they were meant to be, but I have also asked for God to help me to be a better parent. Please pray for my two children ( a son that is almost 10 with a learning disability that causes him to struggle and feel very negative thoughts about himself and a daughter that is 6) and my husband and myself- that we might make the changes that we need to make to raise the children the way God wanted us to. I will spend more time tomorrow following your plan to write a specific prayer for each child. Thank you again for posting- I believe that God led me to your website tonight as a way of answering my prayer! How cool is that!
What an incredible answer to prayer you are Charisse! Thanks for the encouragement to believe that God is at work in the lives of our children even when we cannot see it. He is the one that has begun a good work in them and He will indeed see it to completion.
Thank you so much for being obedient to the lord and posting this on the website. This has truly confirmed the direction…I’ve struggled with my children but it was really I was struggling with myself and faith. Recently god has revealed to me myself and the reason i was so afraid is because i didn’t believe however a couple of weeks ago, i wrote my son a prayer daily and he confesses every day on his way to school and from school and we give god the praise and in doing that we also pray for the younger ones 1 year old and 3 month old…I am grateful because i know my mom prays for me and prayed for me as a child and as a parent and i am a true testament that prayer works! I was once a troubled child and now people cannot even imagine me being that way, when i was 19 i ranned a way out of state and became pregnant….now i not only love the lord but myself..before i got married to a wonderful husband i begin to sancitfy myself because i desired to be a better person even when i made mistakes i kept going back to the lord ashame but god..god took that all away from me. today i help other families and when someone look at me they dont see all of my past mistakes but the god that’s in me…..some times as parents we forget our struggles as children but someone was cheering us on when it didnt appear that way..now i am confident in christ and all that he do…i refuse to set limitations on god because he is great and exceeding i love the lord hallelujah! so god has assigned me to cheer my children on no matter how it may look to speak positively about them when people ask about them i am so glad because it allows me to say something good even if it hasnt materialize and me saying that builds me up and my kids…so when someone ask u about ur kids say they are truly blessed and you are so proud of them god has really worked wonders on them in such a good way…whatever u have prayed for believe it and it shall be done speak it into existence!Amen!
Praying for our children is crucial. What a blessing to know that God knows our pain and loves our children even more than we love them.In I John 5:14-15 it says: “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.”
Don’t lose heart, pray that God will bring other people into their lives to influence them. I like what Beth said about writing down your hopes and desires for your children and turn it into a prayer and at the same time, allow God to do a work in you. God often has special blessings hidden in sorrow. Be encouraged, God is always near.
God is good, I am so lost as I do not know how to pray for my children until I googled and found your article. It is so good, thank you Beth.
At least now I have a direction on how to pray for them. My children have been going through rough times and the work of Satan is very damaging to them. I hope to be able to pray for angels and dear Lord will stop the
work of the devils. They are very lost too as they often asked me, why
bad things happen to kind people like us. I told them this is God’s plan or He is testing us. But things that happened are very damaging to their
faith and confidence. I will take your advice and pray hard. Thank you again.
Hi mardi,
I have passed on your prayer request to our prayer team at Power to Change. I will also uplift you and your family in prayer. May God bless you for keeping a strong faith.
Please pray for my sons, Will & Rob (20 and 18) who have strayed from their walk with God. My husband and I have tried to lead by example but I am afraid Satan is trying to put a stronghold on their lives. I am so sad and feel helpless at times. Pray that I can hold fast to the knowledge that GGod is in control and loves them both even more than I. Pray for their eyes to be opened and for their faith to return.
I thank God for each of you and through reading your prayer requests and posts, I have been truly blessed, with a renewed assurance of answered prayer! My faith is strengthened as a result!
Please pray for my kids Daisy and Joy, who are in the Boarding school in 5th and sr.kg respectively, as am a single working parent. Pray that they may grow in the knowledge of the Lord, they may study well for their exams, good health and they may get adjusted in the borading school (especially Joy who is 5 yrs old) Thank you and God Bless….
Thanks. This is wonderful. Let’s start praying for our children and families and by so doing help shape the lives of our future generation. May God cause all parents to embrace this new crusade to bring peace , stability and a new generation of upright men and women.
Beth,
I am the National Prayer Coordinantor for Christian Grandparenting Network and I really enjoyed your article that was linked to the devotional I wrote. I would appreciate it if you would contact me on my website http://www.grandparentingwithapurpose. May God bless you as you minister to fmilies.
My son is having issues with purity and desiring worldly things. He was brought up in the church and he says he’s a Christian, but does not act like one. I pray for him daily and ask God for wisdom to guide him.
Thank you for that! I am 17 going on 18 in a couple of weeks. I have an 18 month old beautiful baby boy. I took a road in life I never thought I would have. Turns out to be the most amazing mistake I ever made. With that I want to my life back in order. I want to truly be the daughter to Christ I am supposed to be. I’m young and really trying to figure all this out and be the best mother I can. It’s hard at times but his darling kisses and sweet smiles make up for each stress. I read over the prayers about your son looking for some insight, I found it. I want him to face life with Jesus by his side. I want him to grow up a strong man of God. Thank you. Please keep me andmy family in your prayers. To everyone else asking for prayer just know you’re in mine. Thank you all!
[...] Prayer From a Parent’s Heart [...]
Cheryl, we here at Power to Change have prayer mentors who will pray with you and for you. Here is the link http://powertochange.com/experience/need-prayer/ or you can click on the button on the top of the page. Thank you for sharing your story. I am sure your mother’s heart is feeling overwhelmed as you watch the choices she is making. I encourage you to pray faithfully, and surround yourself with a strong support network to encourage you in the process. Take care and God bless, Beth
I pray that first, God will give you the peace to take charge over this matter. I can only say that as believers, God has promised that our children are for signs and wonders, they shall possess the gates of their enemies and God will teach them and instruct them so that great shall be their peace. ( These are all bible quotes that you may be familiar with and could look them up later). The reason that i am quoting them is the bible clearly tells us that the angels only hearken to the word of God regarding all situations and they are waiting to hear us speak God’s words so they can go to work regarding whatever the situation.
I hope these words are helpful, they minister to me alot concerning my children ( i have a 8 year old son and my daughter is 17). And also God said that you can whistle for your children and call them back, just as the bible says that as believers we and our children will not hear/listen to the voices of strangers…The bible states that salvation is for us and those of our household-husbands, children etc
Lastly, believe, have faith and stand only on God’s word no matter how bad or worse the situation might get, because the situation has to bow and line up with God’s word eventually. May you have the patience and courage while you wait for the manifestation of God’s word. Remain blessed and have the peace of God. Amen
Jane
Please pray for my daughter, she is saved and has been an inspiration to all who knows her, but somehow, she got involved with the wrong people and was influenced to backslide. She is hopelessly in love with a guy who has forsaken her and the Lord many times and she keeps going back to him, even after he has physically, emotionally, financially, spiritually hurt her. She is now involved in drugs and alcohol and Jesus’ knows that he has given her many signs that she is on the road to destruction. Please help me pray for her! Please. My faith is strong, yet …..
Thank You!
My son just started college this year in a different state than where we live. So, he’s quite a few miles away from home. The hardest adjustment for him has been finding friends he can hang out with or eat meals with. It seems to be harder for males than females to find friends. I wish I knew why.
