Just think – if each of us took time every day to encourage someone else we would never be bored, we’d have deeper friendships and it would not occur to us to feel sorry for ourselves. Not to mention that others would be encouraged!

Thanks for an encouraging list! Encouragement is a gift that we often overlook. But it is one of the most important and powerful gifts God has given us. We can make a huge difference in someone’s life with just a little encouragement. And the more we encourage others, the more encouragement we receive. All of the truly great Christians I have known have been encouraging people. Lets develop a habit of encouraging others.

i needed to hear that! I love encouraging others and for some reason I’ve been so selfish with things. I do what to help others and I think this will open the door, now I just have to walk thru. Thanks for writing this! its great!

This really is an awesome list! I agree Rick that it is very valuable. What a great idea to use it for your Small Group Ministry at church. All of us need to focus more on encouraging one another and it is always helpful to have specific things that we can do.

I have found that when I say and do things for others even the small things people will know they are appreciated. This shows others that I am Christ like.

I’m teaching on Sunday school about how to overcome discouragement and I searched in the internet and found this information regarding how to encourage other. This topic is so helpful especially us as Christian, we should always be prepared to encourage others and also to let others encourage us. Thank you.
