Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Edith! Thank You that her faith, trust and hope is in You. Those who trust in You are never disappointed. Help us to remember that we cannot judge Your love by our circumstances. Sometimes we think that because things look bad, feel bad, are bad or getting worse, that You are punishing us or forgetting about our needs. Help us to see You as You truly are, and help us to surrender to Your refining, perfecting, pleasing plan for shaping our character and making us a light of Your glory to all the people in our lives. Please continue to bless Edith with faith, and a face that shines radiantly because she spends so much time with You, in Your word and Your presence, just like Abraham when he came down from the mount! In Jesus’ holy name I pray. Amen.

Edith, keep pressing into the Lord, He will never leave you or forsake you. Even when things seem quiet or desperate, do not despair. That is a trap that our enemy would like to catch you in, because then he can bring you down. Speak to him and tell him: “I am loved by the Lord Jesus. You cannot have a foothold in my life. By the power of His Holy Spirit I am filled with peace, joy, patience, goodness, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”

God cares for you, He sees your heart and your circumstance, and He will bring you through. Amen!
