    Tsakani,
I love what you said, ‘when there’s a man to pray there’s a God who will answer prayer’. What a great reminder for all of us to keep on praying!

  • Daniel says:

i pray that God own people will grow in spirit. God bless you all Jesus in name Amen.

  • Tsakani says:

When there’s a man to pray there’s God who will answer the prayer.
Let’s continue praying for our youth without season, they are the leaders of tomorrow and the weapon that the church needs today to stand up and fight a good fight of faith. May the good Lord Bless us all.

How many days in a month? To read through this list, may be just that, reading it prayerfully. Yet the more detailed and personal we make our prayers, the more effective they will be! We have teen-age grandchildren, I know youth in our church, in our greater community, in our church schools (in western Canada), ….. I have been to Africa 3 times (twice to the Congo and once to Cameroon) and know some of the missionaries and church leaders there. So, what if I name specific people in a prayer for day 1, then have the Spirit lead me the next day to pray point 2 , and so on, till after 31 days we are ready to start over? What better way of putting this list into practice?

  • I prayer that God will move every of the inspiration from this organisation to melt the heart of youths for a change in Jesus name. Amen. And i pray that will use you mightly more ever with good health, favor from people for the growth of this ministry Amen. Also pls post me your devotions, i’ll be happy to meditate on them, for my own growth too. Thank you

A year ago (on May 30th)I responded to the comments on this list. Now I’m thrilled that it has been blessing people here since then! Thank you, Pastor Robert Coleman, for letting me know that God is working in your part of the world, in Africa, also!
I like what Mick says (on April 27, 2011) that it can be a great “prayer starter” for Prayer-Walking for the youth.
Praying Scripture is one of the topics discussed by April Yamasaki in her book “Sacred Pauses”. She is a pastor in Vancouver, B.C., Canada. It is ISBN 978-0-8361-9685-6’ if you want to find it.
Dear Lord, I pray that we not only read this list, but pray it often!!!! Our youth live in a changing world, and need Your word and by our prayers to guide them. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thats great news Barbara! God is great!

  • Barbara says:

Our family has a prayer line and recently established a prayer line for the youth and young adults in our family. While researching what to pray for concerning them I came across your website and immediately knew The 31 Ways to Pray for Youth was a answer to prayer. This will be a tool we use frequently and definitely pass it on to others as well. Thank you for allowing the Holy Spirit to use you in such a powerful way.

  • Alfred Alfred says:

What a powerful list for intercessors to use! I’ll be passing it on to the youth worker in our community, and using it myself, of course. No doubt this list of 31 was inspired by the Holy Spirit.
I’m just reading in the book of Judges, how the Israelite people forsook God and followed the gods of their neighbors, were punished, cried to God for help and were rescued by a Spirit-led person. They went down and up 6 times, not learning from the past. It only takes ONE generation to loose the faith of our fathers! That makes it all the more imperative that we be on our knees for our young people!!!

  • eunice says:

How wonderful is this to encourage the youths to pray for their time because youth are the leaders for tomorrow. I would like to thank you for your encouragement. good day.

  • Kate Kate says:

Hi Cher, so glad to know you are using your gift of intercession! We must always be ready to put on the armor of God and raise up the sword of His Spirit, which is the word of God, for we battle not against flesh and blood.

  • cher says:

Amen! im so glad to read this and it helps me to pray for the youth in our church GOD BLESS!

  • Kate Kate says:

It is such a joy and privilege to pray! How awesome is our God that He hears and answers! All the idols are silent, but our God speaks and listens. How wonderful He is to build up our faith as we sit at His feet, acknowledging our desperate need of Him and how gracious He is to bless us. Let’s look forward to how God will answer the prayers of His people, for He is FAITHFUL!
