Thank you for encouraging memorization. When I think of my childhood church memories I always remember Vacation Bible School and Sunday School and all the memorization from then that I carry today in my heart and mind. I've learned new scriptures as I've grown older but had never really considered memorizing chapters or longer passages (more than 3 or 4 verses). I am going to start practicing this. I know that words kept in my heart have so much more meaning to me and have come to me in times of stress, despair and happiness. Thank you for inspiring me to greater memorization.
