Thank you so much for this beautiful living example of servant leadership, Kris! My heart was deeply touched as I read, and I was so drawn to the love in the hearts of both the dear injured young woman whom Jesus rescued from her "fall" and of Braulia, who served this daughter of God as a mother. I was reminded of Isaiah 49: 15-16: and the depth of the Father's love for us when He says, "15 Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. 16 See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands." [NKJV] Surely, Braulia served as our Abba, Father to this young woman, and, in turn, the love of Jesus took root in her heart and she grew up into His servant in return. Our Heavenly Father has both of these ladies' names written on the palm of His hand, and surely, He will never forget them. Nor will I forget their story. God bless you for telling it, Kris!
