Yes, Kevin, “Seek God first before seeking your answers”, is indeed an awesome quote!
Now for a word to Tebohonyana Moletsane: It is God who gives us the desire to draw close to Him. When we respond to His call, He empowers us as promised in Acts 1:8. Let me first give you my story, and then I want to say a few more words about power. How God turned me around; as part of my Spiritual journey:
After growing up in a Christian home and being baptized as a teenager, I, Alfred Waldo Neufeldt, was glad to go into 2 years of voluntary service. Being proud of what I'd done, I drifted for 30 years. I had a vague feeling that all was not well, but did not realize how far I'd fallen. With considerable difficulty I did hold onto a job, but was not getting ahead. I had lost rapport with my family (wife and 3 children), felt lonely and even bitter at times. I even looked at horoscopes, but when I found that evil spirits were starting to cater to me I was horrified! I prayed that God show me how to straiten out my life. Then HE gave me a dream in which I was on my way to hell, and I knew why. That shook me up! For the next 7 days, upon returning home from work, I knelt by my bed and wept bitterly for Jesus to wash me clean. Then I felt refreshed. I asked God what the next step would be, upon which a friend invited me to a Full Gospel Business Men's meeting. There I received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.(That was in the spring of 1988.) What a thrill. I have never been the same since! I'd let go of God, but in His mercy, He had not let go of me. In His love, He drew me closer to Himself than I'd ever been before. My wife and I were led to participate in a Bible study for couples, which helped us to again find one-another. The Holy Spirit was doing a work in both our hearts. We took that course 3 times, and were in a position to teach it, when we moved to another province, and work commitments kept us from doing so." (That Bible study was "Married for Life", with what has now become University of the Family. Look for it on the internet.)
I've heard say “the average Christian is living a defeated, spiritually impotent, fruitless, worldly (carnal) life. He is not walking in the fullness and control of the Holy Spirit”. That was me, all right, till God turned me around! No, I'm far from perfect, but the joy and love of our Lord fills my heart, and I know I have Jesus Christ as a friend, and a future with God in eternity!
Now for the words about power I promised you: To desire the role of being an apostle is asking a great deal. I think we need to note that the Apostle Paul of whom we read in the Bible, did not seek power, but had the power of God flow through him. With the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, God also gave me “healing hands”, but I soon found out that I could not heal any one! It was something God would do (through me). First I had to be clean (all sins forgiven); secondly I needed to be in tune with God, and with what He wanted to do, and thirdly, I needed to be available for Him to use. What a privilege to serve HIM !
I know an apostle, a man of great Spiritual maturity and great humility. He says that an apostle is “a church-planter”. We read in 1 Cor 12:28 “And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, also those having gifts of healing, those able to help others, those with gifts of administration, and those speaking in different kinds of tongues”. NIV.
You may now be asking yourself: What is God's plan for my life? Have I received the baptism in the Holy Spirit? Am I called to be a pastor? ---- and possibly eventually an apostle? All types of Christian Service are important, and God will equip those whom HE chooses. May you feel His holy presence and be at peace!

If you seek the Lord first all the hidden treasures will be revealed to you. We fail to understand Holy Spirit working in us in many circumstances because we have not asked his for this revelation. I sometimes put limits to the work of the Holy yet in actual fact we should give our whole life to Him to minister unto us. I pray that the Almighty will give me the power and strength to accept his teaching and have faith in him so that the Holy spirit can guide me through

I live by faith not by sight for God is my strenght; power of His word that guide me in His all of His way, with Gods love and understanding thats makes me more grow and stand firm more on my faith to God, because I know God never leave us or forsake us as like it said 1 John 4:16 and

so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love whoever lives in love; live in God and God in Him. God never say "NO" to His children but God gave us advice and correct our ways as it said as it said In Proverbs 3:12-13

because the Lord discipline those He loves as a Father, the sons He delights in; blessed is the man who finds wisdom the man who gain understanding.all that we learn from the word of God give light and love to the people love them as what they are and as long we have lives we have HOPE and give us a chance to live only in a peaceful with God. Mt relatioship to God as one of His children who love to obey His laws; for God knows little things that we do it means a lot at least we try ; it just like out of five we get one or two is enough. we can walk in the power of God bow our head and praise and give thanks all the timee and if ever we dont understand ask God with sincere faith and God will guide us in all truth.

God bless

Amen
