dear tina and maria– prayer–father God i pray for these two ladies for their husband for jobs for them, i pray that you will lead them to a good job that you will get the glory in and that they can be fulfilled as a person working, give them favor for a job, i pray for a job soon for them for a miracle for them i pray for other christians to encourage them in their faith. bless them with a job soon i pray all of this in JESUS name amen. i am praying for you all love sharon

please pray for my husband he was let go of his job after 10 years due to lack of work in this area. Please pray he will be offered something even better that he will love and that it will happen soon He is going crazy..thank you and when two pray the lord will answer it is written..god bless tina

Please pray for my husband. He has been looking for a job for months and almost got one in November. Now he hasn’t been hearing anything but rejections. I want the best for him and am trying to be reassuring, but sometimes I feel helpless and hopeless.

My boyfriend has lost his job,and its been such a difficult time for us ,as we were planning to get married. sometimes I loose faith that things will be alright.

My husband lost his job August 9, 2010. He has been unable to find a new one. He has gone on 12 interviews in the last 16 months. He always feels confident when he leaves the interview only to have his hopes dashed when he never hears anything. We are from a catholic community. We have been praying for 16 months now. I know people always say God has a plan and everything will work out. I have really been questioning my faith recently…..I’m beginning to think God doesn’t hear our prayers. His unemployment will run out soon. This has me so scared. How will food be put on the table for the kids? Bills be payed? This has really taken a toll on the marriage. Please can someone say a prayer for us? That our faith is restored, that the marriage stays in tact and not falter, and that employment comes his way soon.

I believe that going through the trial of life makes us better to god and to others and oursleves. I have been through finacial trial and God has maed me a better person as He gose thgough with me together.

Thanks for your response. I’m inspired by those words of courage and reference to the word of God. A couple of verses in Isaiah 49 reassure me that God has my name on the palms of his hands and that even if mother forget her nursing child, he would not forget me. vs 23 says “those that trust God will not be put to shame”. We are resolved to trust him blindly. Please let me stay on your prayer list. The lord has the ability to set even the lawful captive free.

Dear Yemi, I cannot tell you what to do in this situation but I do know that God loves you and hears your prayers in this time as you struggle with your job. With your job uncertainty, I pray that you would continue to depend on God and on where he wants you at this time in your life. I recommend this video and articles about fear. In an uncertain time, you and your wife might be fearing what might happen in the future. If you are worried about what is to come with your job situation my prayer for you is that this passage from the Bible brings you courage.

“And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:28-34

Here is my prayer for you: Lord God, I pray for Yemi and his wife. I pray that you would give them wisdom as Yemi is worried about what will happen with his job. I pray that you would encourage them and provide for their needs. I pray that you would help them to look to you and that the next step would be from you. Lord, may Yemi find peace in what is to come in his employment situation. In Jesus name, Amen.
