Out here in SoCal we’re in a “fluctuating” home market, and as a result consignment stores are beginning to pop up. There are a few great consignment stores that I advise clients to consider when shopping for home decor.

buying used/second furniture is agood idea. sometime we can find very good even unigue stuffs with lower price

I like the point #3 about buying used furniture. Nowadays you don’t have to be really crafty or skilled to freshen up an old piece of furniture. Even as simple as spray paint or a glue gun with accessories can touch up something old and give it a unique look. Almost anything goes anymore and at the end of the day, it’s just “stuff” so why pay a fortune? Someone once reminded me that we spend the first half of our life collecting stuff and the second half getting rid of it. So true!!! Have fun!
