Thank you for your interest in hosting Uniquely Us. We want to partner with you to provide couples with Help for today and Hope for tomorrow. Together we can impact marriages so they thrive and not merely survive.  Save a marriage, save a family, save a community, save a nation. It starts one family at a time.

Uniquely Us has been designed as an outreach event. Our desire is to share the hope JESUS offers by innovatively presenting God’s blueprint for marriage. Whether couples are in crisis, doing great, or anywhere in between they will benefit from Uniquely Us. This conference is a tool to reach couples for Jesus Christ through the felt need of the family.

Our speaker couples have a passion to see couples grow their relationships and long to see couples find hope in Christ.

What is Involved?

Team

You need people who are excited and willing to work together to see the event is planned well. FamilyLife Canada will provide many tools but the team is the key element to hosting a successful event. We have a guide called “Planning a One Day Event with FamilyLife” that provides you with help.

The team will be responsible for:

Prayer
The most vital request we have is to have people praying for the event. We can not stress enough the importance of prayer and the impact it has on the result of the event. We suggest you have people begin praying well in advance and during the event.

Promotion
We provide many downloadable items that include posters, registrations and invitations. Click Here

Registration
Registration and determination of conference fees are handled by the sponsoring church Click Here for a downloadable excel tracking form.

Audio/Visual
A person is required who is familiar with your A/V equipment. We require an LCD projector, DVD player, lapel or headset microphones and two music stands. For a complete listing of our needs see our Planning a One Day Event.

Refreshments
From experience we have learned that people really appreciate coffee, water and some snack items, such as muffins and fruit. We recommend this as it definitely adds to the enjoyment of the day.

Resources
Books have a tremendous impact to challenge couples well after the event is over. Contact New Life Resources for details on consignment book packages and receive free product simply for providing this service at your event.

Follow-up
The Church is responsible for follow-up as we want the couples to be connected with you to ensure they receive the most effective help. We do have online helps that we would love to discuss and offer to you that could supplement what you offer.  We also have home studies for small groups.

Cost
Churches receive a discounted rate of $800 base conference fee  plus $50/couple for manuals and assessments.  Travel, lodging and meals for speakers are an additional charge.  We will try and provide speakers as close as possible to your location.
