“What should we do? I don’t know … go ask Bono!” Many pastors would have a similar reaction to the pastor in this video. We know as a church we should be making a difference in the world. We know that there are startling needs. But we aren’t sure how to get started. Whittier Area Community Church pastors faced this same dilemma and set a seemingly impossible goal: Raise $160,000 to build a hospital in Africa.
