What would you do in your last moments on Earth? Likely we will never truly know, because we don’t know when that moment of reckoning is coming. In this video, the event of Jesus’ crucifixion is told, but this time the story focuses on one of the two others crucified that same day.

Jesus was not the only one crucified that day. On two other crosses, on either side of him, two others were nailed to crosses. We do not know their names, or their stories. They are identified in the Bible only as “criminals” (Greek kakourgos). We do not know what their crimes were, but usually they were guilty of what were considered the most heinous crimes, like being terrorists or military deserters or rapists. Jesus, however, was guilty of none of these crimes, and even the supposed crimes for which he was being crucified were fabricated.

One of the criminals mocked Jesus. But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.” (Luke 23:39-40)

What is your reaction to who Jesus is and what Jesus did for us? You may not have committed crimes as bad as these criminals, but like them, your reaction to Jesus has eternal implications. What will you choose? To mock, or to embrace?

Per, he is only invisible to those who do not believe, but to those who do believe, he is “…called
    Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”(Isaiah 9:6)

Furthermore, Jesus is the answer to all your problems, whether they be big or small, financial or habitual, domestic or physical. He wants to be your redeemer, your healer, and your deliverer. He will open your eyes as he opened the eyes of the man blind from birth in John 9:1-7. Turn your life over to Him, and trust Him to bring about what He knows is best for you.

I pray that God would open your eyes Per, and cause you to see Him, and believe, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Great video for sadists and psychopats.

But then again, that can be said about a lot of the stories from the bible.

    Is anyone really enjoying this????
Maybe you should have a talk with you invisible friend… or a shrink! :-)

John 15:12-13 says “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends”. This is the love of God. Our last day is one secret that God has not made known to the human race.

  • Dave, maybe this link will help, it’s written by a former agnostic who describes his thinking about the subject as a non-Christian:

“Why Did Jesus Die?” A former agnostic wrestles with some of Christianity’s most basic issues

If you have a desire to talk about it some more, you’re welcome to contact a mentor to discuss it privately.
