Social psychology is a very interesting topic. Whether or not we are cognizant of it, it is amazing how much of our behavior is influenced or affected by those around us — by people, by conversations, by our everyday surroundings. Our knowledge and our experiences are such invaluable treasures that we carry with us wherever we go. In 1 Peter 3:15, Christians are urged to “always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.” Such conversations could be pivotal in our lives; for instance, a conversation with someone of a different faith could propel you to pursue a degree in theology or to spend more time learning about the Word. Our minds are intricate, yet exquisite. It is something that we must treasure because it absolutely matters. It is important because what comes into it is just as important as what comes out of it.
