  • Brenda Miller says:

Shelley, thank you so much for offering your support to these women who are hurting and in such tremendous pain as a result of the choice they each made earlier in their lives to have an abortion, a decision they so desperately regret today. Praise be to God that He is merciful and full of compassion, and I join you in giving my heartfelt support, both to these women who are working so hard to overcome the trauma of having been lied to so that they believed that aborting their unborn children was only a simple medical procedure with no lasting repercussions, and to all those ladies who struggled to carry their children to term with the knowledge that, for a variety of reasons, they would be unable to raise them themselves. With tremendous love, they therefore surrendered their precious newborns into the hands of another loving family so as to give them the gift of life which you now know today, Shelley. These families also deserve our thanksgiving. It is also a blessing, Shelley, to be reminded of how vital it is that we honour our parents on Mothers’ and Fathers’ Day for the gift of life they have given to each one of us.

I also want to extend my gratitude to each one of the ladies who took part in making this tremendous series, “Surrender the Secret”; your courage is inpirational, and it is my prayer that the Lord Jesus blesses you richly as He touches you with His healing hand and leads you to a place of peace and victory over the pain with which you have been agonizing for so very long. In His precious and holy name, I ask these things. Amen.

I just wanted to encourage these ladies, that I was not aborted by my birth mother. She instead gave me up for an adoption, as she was an unwed mother back in 1954 when I was born. I still honour her even though we have never met in this life, but i am grateful in what she did and I feel for you people out there who have gone through one in your life. I instead have been blessed to have to sets of parents in my life and I always honour them on Mother’s and Father’s Day.
