Hi Alyssa,
I think different companies may use this term for different products but according to Dairyland’s website dairyland.ca Creamo refers to their 10% cream product, or half n’ half.
According to them, the milk fat percentage makes it less likely to curdle in cooking that milk but is still lighter than coffee cream (18%)
According to Wikipedia, half & half in North America refers to dairy products with milk fat (MF) of 10-18% so I think anything you use within that range should work.
Thanks for the question, best of luck with your cooking and let us know how it turns out!
What is “Creamo”? I did a search for it and can’t find anything for it!? Where can it be purchased? Are the any substitutes for it? Thank!
