I am interested in dating a person from work

datecoworkerI am male, 27 years old and a working professional. I met a woman at work through a shared project. I like everything I see in her. She’s exactly what I think I’m looking for. My boss (a woman) went to lunch with the two of us and after lunch she advised me to take this woman out. I don’t know how to act. I want to ask her out, and she’s giving me the signs, I think. What should my next move be? I like working with her and I fear that if I am misinterpreting the signs I will destroy a nice professional relationship.

Advice: Are you able to be in a dating relationship without it getting sexual? Date for two years. If it turns out to be the real thing, then you can get married and one of you can move onto another company if the working situation gets complicated. It is not always easy to meet someone who is intellectually stimulating as well as attractive to you. The most likely place to meet your wife is in the work setting. if your boss has given you her OK, then at least go for a date; but stay away from heavy petting and intercourse.
