My fiancee left me and now I’m broke
I have an extreme problem. My fiancee of 2 years just left me. No money, no food, and at the present time no job. I do intend to find a job, but what help is there temporarily? All the bills are due and past due, he never paid them! Just found this out. There are no children involved.
Advice: Sorry, but it sounds as though you were being awfully dependent on him. How many of the bills are his? How long was he paying for everything? Are all the bills in your name? How did that happen? Have you ever had a room-mate do this to you before? Many people, when this happens, move back in with their folks or a friend, if that is an option. Then they try to regroup and get back on their feet. You need to call everyone you owe money to and explain and tell them what you are doing to resolve the problem, i.e. working at Del Taco (fast food restaurant) till the other job comes through.
