Five-Minute Makeup

Written by Wendy Martin-Altemus

My clients are always asking me how they can do their makeup faster. Here’s my strategy for covering the essentials in five minutes or less.

Minute 1: Using concealer brush and fingertips, pat and blend concealer onto blemishes, undereye circles and any redness or discolorations.

Minute 2: With wedge foundation sponge or foundation brush, blend foundation evenly over face, being careful to not wipe away concealer previously applied.

Minute 3: Dip powder brush into loose powder and brush under and over eyes, and T-zone.

Minute 4: Curl lashes with eyelash curler, then apply black mascara on top lashes only.

Minute 5: Bronze cheeks and eyes with blush brush and apply your favorite lip color.

With practice, you will get even faster!
