Internships

Internships offer the opportunity to learn and get vital experience in the daily joys and challenges of full-time ministry. Interns join a team of passionate and dedicated workers who provide mentoring and training.

Power to Change currently offers three distinct internship programs offering varying levels of commitment and ministry experience.

Short-Term Internship:

Our short-term internships happen all across the country in a variety of disciplines.

At a Glance:

four months in duration

beginning in January, May and September each year

may qualify towards course credit

Please note that internship positions are filled well in advance of the start date so it is best to begin the application process a 4 months before you plan to intern. Please contact opportunities@powertochange.org for complete details as conditions vary by ministry and position.

One-Year National Internship:

Spend a year sharing your faith on a Canadian university campus, putting your expertise and passion to work with TruthMedia, The JESUS Film Project, Athletes in Action, or get career experience in the areas of marketing, finance, information technology or human resources. One or Two-Year International Internship:

Build relationships and engage in Faith Adventures around the world! Power to Change’s International Internship program provides a one or two-year opportunity to work on an international university campus or work with international athletes.

At a Glance:

focused on evangelism and discipleship

receive on-the-job training and personal development

team-based ministry with other Canadians and national students

share your faith, lead a small group, plan retreats and train other students to lead the ministry

Positions available with Campus for Christ are in The Orient, Tanzania, Africa and Panama and with Athletes in Action are Central Europe, South East Africa, Thailand and Brazil.
