Thanks for stopping by and checking out the various articles Elaine. It sounds like there are some pretty major communication issues in your relationship and being pregnant doesn't help. In fact the emotional rollercoaster of pregnancy probably exacerbates it even more. May I suggest that you would benefit from having one of our online mentors walk alongside of you? Just fill out the form found on this page and someone will email you. http://powertochange.com/discover/talk-to-a-mentor/

I've read two other posts on here and was feeling like I communicate or go back to level three (my safe level when things get s hard) but now Im not so sure. After reading this article and having reread these articles over a couple weeks period Im starting to feel like my partner is at level two. Im not so sure I know what to do.
I've shown him the article about the female not wanting sex and the levels of intimacy that I may be at but thats as far as it went. Im not happy with the way we communicate and how we wind up sleeping apart. I believe we goto level three a lot of the time; yelling, breaking stuff, punching stuff, and leaving with phone turned off and no means of communication. Our problems start from the smallest of issues. I believe I see hate and frustration in his eyes when he talks to me. He's mentioned over and over seeing that look on my face too. Im pregnant and fear it will only get worse after our baby comes. Please help anything will help at this point.
