God The Source Of All Power

Written by admin

“If God is infinite and self-existent then He must be all-powerful.  The self-existent Creator God is the source of all the power as a source must be at least equal to anything that emanates from it.” (A.W. Tozer)

Nebuchadnezzar of the Babylonian Empire was one of the greatest kings in human history.  He once boasted, “Look at this, Babylon the great! And I built it all by myself, a royal palace adequate to display my honour and glory.”  He had no respect for God in his kingdom.

One day, he was humbled by the Creator God who caused him to behave like an animal living in the fields, growing long hair and nails and eating grass like a cow for seven years.  After he returned to his sanity, he praised and worshiped the Most High. “His rule is everlasting, and his kingdom is eternal.  All the people of the earth are nothing compared to him.  He has the power to do as he pleases among the angels of heaven and with those who live on earth.  No one can stop him or challenge him, saying, `What do you mean by doing these things’ “ (Daniel 4:34-35).  This study will help you to explore the awesome power of God!
