A Father’s Love

If you do not know the story of Dick and Rick Hoyt, it is one of love and inspiration that everyone should see. When Dick’s son Rick was born with cerebral palsy, he was told to ‘put his son away’ in an institution and to forget about him. Dick’s love for his son was too great for that, and now years later as ‘Team Hoyt’ they inspire people to achieve their dreams in spite of overwhelming obstacles.

Dick’s love for his son inspired him to go to extraordinary lengths to ensure Rick lived a full life. What sacrifices have your father made for you? What about our Heavenly Father, how has He shown His love for you? This Father’s Day, let’s take time to thank and acknowledge what our fathers have done for us.
