Be A Mirror of Christ

As a follower of Christ, how do others know that you are a Christian? Is it through the “Jesus fish” on your car bumper or the little cross tattoo on your wrist? For Abbotsford Heat president Ryan Walter, attitude is one of the key pieces of the puzzle — especially after you get an angry punch in the face during a hockey game! As Christians, all that we say and do are seen as a reflection of Christ. How can you mirror the Gospel in your daily life?

Make it personal:
How do your thoughts affect your actions?
How can you radiate Christ’s love? The Holy Spirit can help!

  • I believe Jesus shows a good reflection in the mirror to see who we really are ? His words does reflect my eyes to see his glory, so I can embrace his standard destinations, by looking ahead in the future instead of looking in the past.

Please pray for Joey [last name removed] he is depressed and abusing prescription drugs. He draws
pictures of dark images: like demons and gore and devils. He was also physically
abused as a child, but is still lost within himself. He is a lost soul, and the
devil is trying to destroy him. I pray that God heal him and give him the power
    to change.

Hi Marge, thank you for sharing how you are “A Mirror of Christ” within your home and amongst your family and friends. May God’s blessings of hope, joy, and peace continuously be with you and your loved ones.

  • Marge says:

I tend to talk about philosophies to friends, so casually compare a wise saying as similar to the wisdom of Christ…not in a wordy way but just to show my respect for Him. Also, if they come to my home, I have a very large Bible in a prominent place, as well as placques on my wall with some key Bible texts in between all my other knick knacks and artworks. It is indirect but I believe it reinforces Christ as Someone important to people here in this country. These are just some small things. If I mention my Sunday agenda, it always includes a mention of church as the first part of my day. Also, I talk about the good stuff.that my church does…once in a while…gets them curious and maybe.more respectful than usual.

by caring about others and wanting good for them. Most people don’t think anyone cares about them; God loves them and we reflect that to them. This is why I pray for them and share the gospel. Being the person they can come to for help to know God is a loving witness.

    God Bless you, Debbie
