Mentoring
People in your community are asking questions every day.
Can I save my marriage? Are my kids ok? Could God really love me?
We know that Christ is the hope that can answer these questions. Email mentoring gives us the chance to share that hope when a person needs to hear it the most.
Every month, thousands of people send in their questions to The Mentor Center. Each one is matched with a trained volunteer mentor. Mentors share out of their own experience and faith journey. You don’t have to be an expert, you just need to be willing to share what God has taught you.
TMC is looking for more mentors to join their team. Do you have an hour a week to volunteer as a mentor? All of the training happens online so you can start whenever it’s convenient for you. The system ensures that your email address stays private. You can set your own pace and choose the topics you feel comfortable talking about.
Recently, a mentee wrote in to say, “Through this website I have found Christ and comfort at my darkest hour. Talking to a mentor is really helping and I hope to grow in the Lord.”
Each one of us has a story that someone else needs to hear. Become a mentor today and see how easy it is to minister right where you are.
