This is great to hear that you will be handing these out to offenders in the community. I’ve used the book and it really works well. It’s so neat that the people can go online and talk to a mentor about the questions in the book as ell. I will pray for you. “Lord I pray for Portia that you would enable to share you and in her work with offenders in the community. I pray that you would open doors for her. Thank you for this desire you have given her. This we pray in your name, Amen”

I work with offenders in the community. I will be purchasing this book and will be handing out copies to my clients. Fondly enough we attended a non-denominational service at the St Mary’s Cathedral in Perth last evening and sadly, it was not well attended. There seems to be a hidden directive that we are not to use “religion” or “spirituality” or belief in a Higher Being in our dealings with our clients. I strongly believe this should be seriously revisited. There are chaplains in prisons, from different denominations, why should there not be chaplains linked to community corrections. Please pray for this desire in my heart, that the hearts and minds of respective leaders in this department will be opened to the ultimate truth that with God nothing is impossible, and yes, including changing attitudes and behaviours of offenders in our communities.
