Because when we want something we do anything we can to get it
Because I think that fulfilling my cravings leads to satisfaction. But I resonate with the video that often times once I fulfil one craving, I usually have another one that pops up and I focus on that.
In our society, we are raised to have everything or else you’re not good enough. So once we get our craving, we must have another. We need everything.
Are all our decisions in life made on the basis of what we most crave? If so, what are our culture’s overwhelming cravings?
It’s strange. On the one hand we seem willing to do crazy things to get what we want but then on the other we are satisfied so easily and with the smallest of things. Are we really willing to put in the work to get something of significant value? I know I struggle with that.
Some wars were started by men who just wanted a look from a special lady.
Yeah some cravings are powerful.
