Psalm 15
“Lord, who may dwell in your sanctuary? Who may live on your holy hill?
“He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous,
“who speaks the truth from his heart and has no slander on his tongue,
“who does his neighbor no wrong and cast no slur on his fellowman,
“who despises a vile man but honors those who fear the Lord,
“who keeps his oath even when it hurts,
“who lends his money without interest and does not accept a bribe against the innocent.
“He who does these things will never be shaken.???
** Prayer to put this into action in my life
~ Father God, thank You that You so clearly spell out what an authentic Christian looks like. I want to live in Your presence. I want to feel Your nearness as I journey through my days. Please help me to walk in the power of Your Holy Spirit. That is the only way I can even attempt to walk blamelessly and righteously.
Help me today to speak truthfully in all things and to keep my mouth free from words that do not build up others. Help me to refrain from comments that cast a negative light on another.
Father, help me to honor other believers even when I don’t particularly agree with them or even like them. Help me to honor them because they are Your children too.
May I be a person of my word and generous in all my ways. May my feet be planted solidly on You today, my Rock and my Shield. “May my life be my worship??? today.
In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

I am feeling so grateful for so many things today and my behaviors are forever changing to become all the things mentioned in todays prayer. It is so easy to get caught up in talking against others when we are only wasting our valuable time. We should always be building each other up. This is so true in my marriage also. If we don’t constantly keep a prayer vigil going and keep in communication through prayers such as these, we will find ourselves in trouble.
Father God, you have given us all the tools we need to keep your commandments. We are offered Your presence in our lives each day and we make choices to do so. But it isn’t always easy Lord, but you remind us that the rewards of spending eternity with You far outweigh the bad choices we may make. I thank You Lord for giving me all that I need. My walk is something I work on continuously so that I may grow to be more like You.
In Jesus name.
God is so awesome. Each and everyday He amazes me. I sometimes find it hard to be an authentic christian. I pray everyday for strengh to be like Him. I want to thank you, cynthia for mentioning me in your prayers. I often wonder if people pray for me. It’s refreshing to know that you do. I just want to thank God now for allowing me to be apart of such a wonderful devotional group. I really love the fact that we all uplift and inspire each other in so many ways. You guys are so AWESOME!!!
I have been challenged once again by the word of God.Through this Psalm I have been reminded how important our walk with God is. I know, in my own strength, I would not even be able to enter His sanctuary never mind dwell in it. Nor would I be able to stand on His holy hill let alone live on it.Only God Himself, can give me the desire to want to and the strength to do so.
Thank you D.f.w. for these devotions.
I have been convicted by this devotional, because I am guilty of talking about someone in my church, who is not the most lovable person in the world. I am sorry Lord for not giving her the same grace that you give me. Forgive me and help me to love her the way you do. I am so thankful for your wonderful love and grace that has been given to me. Give me a heart like your Son, Jesus. Thank you for this devotional that spoke to my heart.
