Father in Heaven,
This morning I thank you that You are the Strong and Faithful One. You alone are the LORD God Almighty. Today I ask that You would be to me just exactly what I need today.
Be to me the God of all Grace who pours Your grace into my heart as I seek to meet the needs of those around me. I need Your grace.
Be my Only Wise God. I need divine wisdom to juggle the many things in my life right now. Help me to trust You as my strong and faithful God in my home and relationships, my finances and my work.
Be to me my God of Hope as I look at this day today and also at the days ahead. In the changes and challenges that come let me find shelter, encompassed by You, The God of Love, The Living God and the Only True God.
Thank you that You are the Three in One, the God head that gives the wisdom and power of the Father, the love and compassion of the Son and the strength and empowerment of the Holy Spirit to me as I need it.
Help me today to feel Your strength and faithfulness is a powerful way and may my heart rest in You alone.
In the powerful name of Jesus I pray, amen.

I just started reading these devotions because I’m a mom of 3 kids (4 and under) and have been needing a way to connect, if even for a short few minutes, each morning with my faith. I have a history of spending a long time in prayer and journaling and devotional reading, but I just seem to always get interrupted these days. So, I finally decided to go to a devotional that I can do quickly. I know I will go back to my old habits later, but right now this works. Today I was touched by this devotional because there are so many demands on me as wife, mommy, attorney, and partime National Guardsman. I will rest in Him today and know that everything is in His hands.
This devotion is so true, God is our provider and he is so faithful even when we are not, My husband returned safley from his missions trip to Ecuador and it truly was a life changing experance for him, not only did he get to minister to others but God did lots of work on him while he was there..He had relly bad headaches and alot of stomach problems and that was a big worry that the change in food and enviroment would make it much worse, but we started praying and believeing God for his healing before he left and when he came home he said he had NO headaches and no stomach issues, still none to date!! Praise the Lord!!!
They will start planning in March for another trip back to Ecuador, they are focusing on an area called Secua it was the area where the missionarys were killed in the early 70’s there was a movie written about it called “The end of the Spear” please pray for these peolpe and the missionaries there they are in need of a water system, all the people there have parisites becuse of unclean water, and malnutrion because of the lack of protien, but my husband says they have such a hunger for God! Thank you for praying while he was away,I know God is laying the path for our future!!
An example of God’s faithfulness that stands out in my mind occurred a couple of winters ago. I was about 25 country miles from home when I had to be pulled from a ditch. It was a cold stormy night and the roads were slippery, so when I headed back home I thought that the problems I was having were related to the road conditions. I literally crept home through the poor visibility barely able to keep the car on the road and calling on the name of Jesus the whole way. The next morning my husband noticed that the tow truck driver had bent some under part of the car and one of my back wheels was turned at an angle, I had literally been dragging it all the way home. When he went to take it to a nearby garage he could hardly keep it on the road for those few blocks. It had clearly been God’s hand that brought me home safely that night.
WOW! As I read the devotional today I felt as though Gail was directly speaking to me. As I looked here, my story is SO similar to Mary (above).
God is truly faithful and there have been too many times where he has shown his grace on me. Just in the last year or so, he allowed me to give birth to our 3rd son (who is now 9months) when there was a strong chance I would have had to be on bed rest, he has protected my job (which is the sole income right now as my husband is changing careers and getting a Masters in Education) when there was a terrible and threatening situation at work with a new supervisor (for me and 19 others, and He is DAILY showing faithfulness!!! PRAISE HIM!

Yes, I have tasted His Faithfulness in my life. The most recent being:
The Lord has been faithful through my stroke recovery. He has been here supporting me, loving me, and encouraging me. I once was paralzed and could not talk, but now I am able to speak again, I work out, garden walk, lift weights, hunt, mow the lawn, cook, email. Plus, it’s the quiet strength of knowing Him and resting in His Word, and through the Comfort of prayer which daily helps sustain me.
More than that. . . it’s after knowing Him, it’s difficult to imagine not having Him in my life.
GOD WAS FAITHFUL TO ME THE FIRST TIME I HAD CANCER, HE GAVE ME A CURE. I AM PRAYING THAT TOMORROW THE BIOPSY WILL BE NEGITIVE,BUT IF NOT I KNOW HE WILL BE WITH ME

Am unable to comment every day..But joining in strong “bond of agreement” …Matthew 18:20..That as we all stand together on behalf of Sharon..her miracle will manifest tomorrow and believing for a good report from her Dr…Believing the Lord will “manifest” her healing and touch those medical folks around her, too! It is His will for healing in our lives and Sharon is a beautiful, faithful servant who has prayed for us all! Bless you, dear one. And we, in unison, BELIEVE and Claim your Victory this day!!! Father God, I lift up precious Sharon to you and “stand in agreement with Fran”, and others, that she will get a good report tomorrow. As Fran said it is your desire for healing in our lives. Sharon has been faithful to pray for us, and now we lift her up to your throne, claiming victory over cancer that IS NOT THERE!! May Sharon feel your loving arms around her as she has this biopsy and waits for the results. Help her focus on how BIG you are and how small the enemy is!! Thank you Jesus… for “by your stripes we are healed.”

Hello ; I read todays message AND IT WAS WONDERFUL. I needes everything that it mentioned. Righ now I am going through marriage problems, relationships with other family members, personal health problems, my husband has been in and out of the hospital, our chrildren dont’t do much tohelp (his children), our childre ( mine) help as much as they can. He is a very selfish person. I am put down daily by him. Please pray for my youngher sister who is in the hodpital. I am 79 and my husband is 83. I been over backward to help everyone . Please touch and agree with me that God will take charge and work everything out out.
