**If you are facing a difficult time in your life, we would love to pray for you. Need Prayer
Please read Psalm 89:15; Psalm 104:2; 1 Timothy 6:16
I was trying to plan a trip recently and found that there were so many variables that were apt to change that it was impossible for me to plan with certainty at this time. Uncertainty has become a familiar face on the landscapes of our daily lives and in our world at large.
God’s Word tells us that in Our Father God, The LORD of light, there is no shadow, no variableness, no uncertainty as to His love and compassion.
Steep yourself today in the certainty of His love and mercy, His compassion and kindness. As you do He will bring light to your pathway.
~Father God,
I stand amazed this morning at the wonder of You! You are the LORD who reigns! You are the Father of lights. It is You alone who can bring light onto my pathway and dispel the shadows of doubt and fear. Thank you that with You there is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. You can be fully counted on; fully trusted. You are the Giver of every good and perfect gift! Fill my heart with thanksgiving and with firm assurance in Your steadfastness toward me.
Your Name is great! It trumps every other name in Heaven or on Earth. You are perfect in beauty. Help me to allow Your beauty to flow through me today. You are great and marvelous. Help me to remember Your greatness through the question marks of my day. Thank you that you are gracious and merciful when I don’t deserve it.
Lord, may my heart overflow today with the certainty of You. May all that You are: your holiness, compassion, loving kindness, goodness and mercy flow to me today. May I be a vessel today fit for Your use so that these wonderful certainties flow through me to those around me. Fill my heart with the knowledge of You today and help me pass it on.
Thank you for the wonderful truth that You are the Lord of light and that the shadows casting their darkness on my path are not from You. May the certainty of who You are today flood my heart and mind with light and life. In the strong name of Jesus I pray, amen.

Thanks Gail R for the great devotional. May I quote you?
“God’s Word tells us that in Our Father God, The LORD of light, there is no shadow, no variableness, no uncertainty as to His love and compassion.”
That’s for sure Gail. I take GOD’s word in my life as truth. When I come to GOD’s presence to pray I’m reminded by many assuring verses including these ones in
Psalm 89: 34 NIV
“I will not violate my covenant or alter what my lips have uttered.”
There is our GOD of no variableness. HE is truly trustworthy.
In Numbers 23:19 NIV it says
GOD is not a man that HE should lie nor a son of man that HE should change HIS mind. Does HE speak then not act? Does HE promise and not fulfill?
Bless you, Dear Gail, for this beautiful prayer which uplifted my day here..and am certain it will do that for many others as they read and here today!
Felt compelled to comment the last few days..and want to testify here that it is so very, very true that “..If God is for us, who can be against us..” Romans 8:31 And, that while the world and those not led by His Spirit “try” to condemn sometimes? … Romans 8: Verse 1 says it all “..There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus..” And He will shed light where the “wordly” sometimes try to cast shadows. HE restores our Joy and gives us Hope every day!
Can’t go into a lot of details and it isn’t necessary, but this day HE shed light on our pathways here to forgive one who hurt us so deeply in a business sense. But the Lord’s loving, forgiving spirit..showed us the great hurts this man must have experienced in the worldly realm ..and helps us not only forgive him, but pray for his healing and Salvation…And, ulitmately helps us experience Romans 8:37 and with His mercy and love “become more than conquerors”!
Your devotional and all of Romans 8 getting us through a difficult day in the natural..but a “mountaintop experience” in the Spirit..Where Victory available us all in every circumstance!
Bless each and every one here..Every day!
Bless you dear Fran for your kind and forgiving spirit! You mentor to sooo many at this site…and I am only one of many that has been nurtured by your words of wisdom and encouragement here in the past year. What a fine Titus 2 woman you are!!! God is moving that mountain as we speak!! You will soon see!!!!!!!

Bless you, Dear JuneL, for being a Proverbs 17:17 friend and for your loyal, uplifting friendship and prayers..You, LindaR, SharonB, Chris, Barbara C, JoyB and Patti and now new friends and sisters on here, bless sooo much in this journey…and have taught what real friendship is all about.. Marilyn’s and Romel’s recent prayers held me up… along with you dear friends from the first days visited here..And all the rest of you do that, too! Wish it were possible to list every name. Some of us don’t get to be here daily, but our Love and Prayers here always! And? I know there are many like me that read and pray even when unable to comment… Thank you again and again!!
Good to drop in and read what you have all had to say.
Good to know that we serve a God of Light in whom is no darkness or imperfection. One who can indeed be trusted to direct our steps and One who can be trusted in the darkest, secret places of our lives, where He does so love to shed His light.
He even invites us into His light as a place of fellowhip with Him.
1 John 1:7
…if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
And He also lets His light shine through us into a dark and needy world. What a privelege to let our light shine!
Dear DADDY, on behalf of my beloved sister Fran and her husband I’m coming to you again to bother YOU like that woman in Luke 18: 1-8 till YOU lead that man YOU have financially equipped with outstanding financial knowledge who will come and lay down the plans from YOU so that Fran and her husband can comfortably get out of that financial imprisonment they find themselves in.
I claimed Joel 2:25 NIV also for them that says:
“I will repay you for the years lucosts have eaten- the great lucost and the young lucost- the other locusts and the lucost swarm- my great army that I sent to you.”
ABBA FATHER, YOU have blessed many people on earth with riches. I pray that they will be among YOUR army of deliverance for Fran and her household. Oh GOD, nothing is impossible to YOU. I bind the mind of that man who put Fran’s husband in this situation to the mind of CHRIST so that he will know what to do to release Fran’s husband from this imprisonment. I break,I shutter, I loose from Fran’s husband this restrain from the evil one and I bind them to YOUR peace, freedom from debts, and rich of untold blessings to them. YOU said it in YOUR word DADDY to speak life and it will be done, that YOUR plans for us are all hope and good future (Jeremiah 29:11) so LORD I’m counting on YOUR sovereignty that this are already done in heaven and the answer is forthcoming as what YOU said in Isaiah 65:24. DAD, YOUR Word are all truth to us, and for our own good and abundant life thank YOU. We are taking YOU Daddy at your Word and we believe in YOU. THY will be done, OH LORD our GOD.
DAD, while we have conversations here, YOU have heard the desire of Marilyn for the salvation of her husband, the release from many of us from pain… Patti, Andi, (please add your name and your needs to this prayer)… Oh GOD, we are coming to YOU and bringing all our needs and leaving them on YOUR hands. Thank YOU LORD. We ask all these things in CHRIST name Amen”
FATHER, YOU said in John 15:7 (NIV) this:
“If you remain in ME and MY Word remain in YOU, ask what ever you wish and it will be given you.” Thank YOU LORD> We love YOU. We worship YOU!
Thank YOU LORD for working all YOUR plans in us.
Thank you Romel…for adding my name to your prayer.
