Thankful for the Word

Our Breakthrough Group would like to express our sincere thanks for the FACTS verses supplied for our prayer times. We are so thankful to be a part of a growing, sincere, close prayer group.
This year again we had another mom join. She is going through difficult family stresses with her marriage and has been comforted by the verses chosen for us in advance. [This has been] a chance to refresh her faith that has been dormant in her life a very long time.
Time and again the verses we read for the week are perfectly placed with exactly what we need to hear that day.
This week was particularly emotional for us as we met on Thursday. One member (my sister) shared with us that she had just been diagnosed with breast cancer. Not by mistake! Each verse we read this week was about “hope, restore, renew, the Living Hope, no fear” and as we closed off with the final Psalm 138:3 – “When I called, You answered, you made me bold and stouthearted” we were all in awe at the amazing living words the Holy Spirit brings us.

Hi Karen, Breakthrough Prayer Ministry has gone through some changes and now is included in a broader ministry called Connecting Streams. They still are publishing FACT Prayer Verses at their new website http://www.connectingstreams.com/2015/04/16/facts-verses/ Take some time and look around at what Connecting Streams is involved in. Their home page is http://www.connectingstreams.com/ Emmie Stanley (former Director for Breakthrough Prayer) heads up the Connecting Streams ministry in Langley BC.
