“Listen for the still, calm voice of God,” were the life saving words thrown before Karen’s hard hearted rebellion. Her very broken and desperate cry became, "Lord, I've made such a mess of my life! If you can do anything with it, take it it's yours."

Because of persevering praying parents Karen discovered power to change from being a really messed up, mean, miserable and misunderstood person to experiencing peace, purity, passion and purpose.

She has learned that in God’s economy He wastes nothing. Her suffering dance with sorrow, fear, loss, and disappointment have divinely refined her as a warrior princess for truth in a mighty epic and eternal dance with her King. She has served the past ten years as the National Director of Mothers Who Care and Breakthrough, the evangelistic prayer ministries of Power to Change designed to call, train, and equip thousands to Inquire, Hear and Obey for the Advance of God’s Kingdom.

Karen humbly acknowledges Jesus as her Savior, Sanctifier, and Healer and eagerly awaits Him as Coming King. She is grateful to be a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, author, trainer, and inspirational speaker who loves to tell God stories that spark obedience to truth. She and her prince Douglas, of 27 years have two miracle sons after ten years of infertility. They have recently moved back home to Kelowna, after 18 years away. Karen loves peaceful moments to create and decorate, walk, read and enjoy God's creation, especially in the sun.

For the last couple of years the Lord has had her on an adventure that tests her faith to the max as she has taken the hand of sorrow and suffering. Her favorite saying is "Yea God!"
