I love the way this young man shares on breaking stereotypes, and also on having his heart broken or wrenched by the Lord after just driving past a man who was in a position of having to humble himself before complete strangers in order to survive. Some questions I have to ask myself are, “How would I survive and feel in similar circumstances to the homeless person?” Another question I have to ask myself after watching this video is whether or not I am willing to sacrifice for those in a worse financial position than my husband and me – and there are many! I pray that I be willing to reach out in whatever way the Lord guides me in order to help those less fortunate than myself.

God bless you for this short film. It has truly touched my heart.

Thanks for sharing this compelling story. Perhaps we need to see those in need as someone’s sister, brother, mom or dad. Maybe then we would be better able to connect with them as people and not just projects. It was too bad that the rain and traffic made it very difficult to hear the story. Thanks again for sharing.

B Loeppky, I so agree with you! When we view others as human beings and as part of our family, it is not so easy to walk away and harden our hearts. Would we walk away if it were our sister, brother, mother or father standing in the middle of the street? Our husband or wife? God bless you for your compassionate comment.

If God values someone, then who am I not to value that person!?! There is no one whom God does not value. Thanks for sharing this and bringing this home. Each homeless person is of infinite worth in God’s eyes.

Paul, I absolutely love the way you are viewing all people through the eyes of Christ! We can all learn from your outlook. Beautiful comment. Thank you so much, and may God richly bless you.
