Are you conscience of the choices you make? The choices you make concerning your hours today will influence the landscape of your future. Take this study to help you.
Domino Effect: “A simple chain reaction that occurs when a small change causes a similar change nearby, which then will cause another similar change, and so on in sequence.” Wikipedia
“Do not be fooled: You cannot cheat God. People harvest only what they plant. If they plant to satisfy their sinful selves, their sinful selves will bring them ruin. But if they plant to please the Spirit, they will receive eternal life from the Spirit” (Galatians 6:7-8 New Century Version of the Bible).
You remember the childhood song, “Be careful little eyes (ears, hands) what you see (hear, do) x2, there’s a Father up above and He’s watching down in love, be careful little eyes (ears, hands) what you see (hear, do)?
Google Earth is now able to give a visual from space right down to street level with a 360 degree view from any address (in the States only, I believe). Would anything change for you if suddenly you knew your image/actions might be portrayed for all eyes to see? Don’t be fooled, one day we WILL give account for every thought, attitude, word and action.
God knows all about us …absolutely EVERYTHING! He takes great pleasure in our willingness to trust and believe in His kindness and provision for our sin. Christ’s blood COVERS our sin and then He gives us His RIGHTEOUSNESS. HIS Spirit empowers us to LIVE as we ask.
Romans 11:22 says that “God is both kind and severe. He is severe toward those who disobey, but kind to you if you continue to trust in his kindness.” Healthy fear can motivate right choices and serve as a great deterrent to wrong choices. To fear Him is the beginning of wisdom.
“Every person has the potential to have a domino effect. Our choices are interconnected to the future. “When we see our present circumstances as isolated from our actions we abdicate personal responsibility for our lives … When we disconnect our circumstances from our choices, we choose to live powerless lives. When we embrace the interconnection between our present decisions and our future opportunities, we regain the power to set our course and to shape our journey. A proper view of cause and effect grows us in wisdom, and brings greater freedom to our lives.” *
LORD, may we please you with our choices to trust YOU today!
