For Canadian bobsledder Lyndon Rush, there’s room for a little faith at the top of a bobsled run.   Hurtling down a course at speeds of up to 80 miles an hour takes faith – in your teammates, in your own skill and for Lyndon, faith in God too.  As Lyndon says in the video, “You have to be able to conquer your fear.”

Watch Olympic bobsledder Lyndon Rush talk about fear, faith & bobsleds:

Lyndon notes in the video that some athletes do wonderfully in the icehouse but then choke when they get to the top of the course.  Have you ever felt that way? So many of us long to be adventurous, to reach out in the unknown.  But how do you take that first step into the abyss?  Sometimes when we are just minding our own business, going about our daily tasks, we come suddenly face to face with an overwhelming problem, obstacle or need.  If you are ready to learn more about facing your own fears, try our free, interactive Life Lesson Confronting Giants: Finding Strength to Face Life’s Challenges
