What is the point of church? If it’s to make people feel good, then a lot of modern churches have it right.
I wonder what the first-century Christians would think about a church that is basically a social club? Maybe we should start thinking about church as a verb instead of a noun; something that we actively participate in rather than a place we visit once a week.

Church!
Church is the people of God.
The place we Worship is where we gather to hear from His Word and minister to others in need.
It is not a social club like, the time I heard that a lady was playing for a record to see how long she can play on the church organ-40 hours.
The money was going to the church, which in one senc=se is okay, but could put it towards something else like missions in the church or Sunday School, something like this.
