Muriel Larson
Muriel Larson was a prolific writer and speaker and for many years we had the privilege of counting her as online mentor and devotional writer for TruthMedia. Late in 2010 Muriel was diagnosed with a rare and severe cancer and in March of the following year God called her home. She is, as we expected she would be, irreplaceable. You can still read much of her writing on her blog.
Dr. Muriel Larson had 17 books and more than 8,000 first and reprint articles published, as well as 50 songs, words and music. Her book, “Joy Every Morning,” went into 31 printings. She had articles published in 21 anthologies. She holds a doctor’s degree in Christian Education (D.R.E.), and is a certified counselor. She had a weekly column in “TheTimes-Examiner,” served as editor for a church periodical, taught at Christian Writers' Conferences across the nation, served as a pastor’s wife, missionary, Bible teacher, VBS director, child evangelist, church musician, and choir director.
