Nicole Wiebe

Nicole is a member of the TruthMedia team, where she daily exercises her penchant for making up new words (much to everyone's chagrin). She is a collector of random facts, cries when she watches whale documentaries and has an infatuation with all things Star Wars. Most of her time is spent reading or laughing hysterically; often at her own jokes. Before coming to TruthMedia, Nicole worked as a Certified Veterinary Assistant. In a pinch, she could neuter a cat.

Accounts of Autism

One of my favorite books is “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” by Mark Haddon.  The book follows the intricate and, to me, sometimes seemingly irrational thoughts and actions of the main character as he solves a mystery. While reading the book I became quickly aware that while it did not implicitly […] Read More >

Attainable Goals DO Exist

New Year’s Resolutions used to be my enemies. Why is it that we as humans even have this tradition in place?  It inevitably results in failure for me almost every year.  Except for this one.  This year, I have actually attained the goal that I resolved to attain.  Wonder of wonder, miracle of miracles! My […] Read More >

Loving the Invisible

It was a late, dark night as I left the restaurant, and the parking lot was empty. As I made my way to my car I scanned around me, checking to make sure there was nothing out of the ordinary.  In the corner of my eye I caught movement, and turned warily to my left.  […] Read More >

It isn’t something that paralyzes my everyday life and stops me from moving ahead. I know that I was intended for something greater than this, […] Read More >
