Life Can Change In An Instant Video provided by: I Am Second
In West Texas they say that football is life. For Baron Batch that seemed to be true. His skill on the field won him a scholarship to Texas Tech and as a young player he had the world in a chokehold. But as anyone who has watched college ball knows, a football career can change in a heartbeat. For Baron it happened during practice one night. It was just a single drill, a teammate rolling over his ankle and he went from the field to a hospital. What happens when the dream is over? Who are you when you can’t be who you always were?
Take the next step:
You were made for more. Discover your purpose
Who is Jesus really?
Watch Coach Mark Washington: What’s more important than football?
Stephen, you’re comment here is a powerful testimony in itself. How easy it would be when something like what happened to Baron came upon any of us to get embittered toward God. Allow me to pray for you.
Father God, I pray that You would provide an unusually exelent job of Your choosing for Stephen. One that he will love doing, and will provide abundantly for him. Grant him the wisdom and expertise at it so that he will be rewarded accordingly. Continue to strengthen his faith in You through reading Your Word and prayer, in Jesus Name I pray, Amen.
Very powerful testimony. From his story, I am more and more convinced that everything we have, our work, wealth, talent, family, friends, and etc. are all from God. It’s amazing how much we take them for granted until we lose them. I have lost my job and have been unemployed for over two years now. I know God will provide and will lead me in the right direction. Thanks for the great message! After listening to your story, I feel as though I can continue to hope, have faith, and trust in the Lord.

WOW what a testimony that God is always there and we just get in the way most of the time.
Don’t give up because GOD’s love and glory is always there and will never ever fail you
Life changing in an instant is beyond our control. Many a times what we plan for is not usually what happens to us. Usually we have our own plan but little do we know that God has a better plan for us! God in His word tells us that before we were conceived in our mothers wombs, He knew us. This implies that He had already predestined for us. He says that He has good plans for us, plans to bless us (to do us good and no harm). For God to ‘thwart’ our plans, it is always for our own good – always for a good reason.
This is also to prepare us for any eventualities. We should be flexible and be prepared for change in life, whether ourselves, work place, our loved ones, or whatever situation. At times it may be difficult, and in most cases it is, but remember that God is in the business/situation/circumstance Himself because He is God!
So inspiring, it took my breath away. God uses certain kinds of events in our life to catch our attention. Wether that be financial loss, death of a loved one, or even change of careers. So glad, he was able to realize that God was trying to speak to him thru his circumstances. He appreciates his life so much more now than before. Now success is everywhere around him from now on.
